Starting a major revision to expand on the citations and background edit

Hello world! I am planning on doing a major update to this page that focuses on adding third-party citations and more detailed information about the NSRC's actions in different parts of the world. I intend to be very careful that anything added is covered by a third-party citation (as opposed to self-published by the NSRC). I receive some of my funding from the NSRC, but am committed to contributing to a neutral, well-documented article. Any suggestions or pointers will be greatly appreciated! Infobox edit

I am working on an infobox (I misunderstood the template guidelines earlier and thought perhaps an infobox wouldn't be useful; wrong!) and am trying to find the parameters around company type. Is there a set list of terms that can be used with that attribute? Current draft of infobox is as follows: Sphcow (talk)

Introduction and History edit

The infobox inclusion seemed to have gone fairly well. I will be updating the Introduction and History next, and intend to add more citations. After the introduction and history section are sorted out, I plan to start working on the Activities section, adding more detail about specific work done in various regions. I am only including what I could find third party citations for, so it is not actually complete, but everything else that discusses NSRC activities is found on the NSRC website. Definitely trying to avoid self-referencing!

Please feel free to contact me if you have any suggestions or concerns with the text or the plan for going forward! Sphcow (talk) 21:26, 17 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Activities edit

Now that the introduction and History section have been updated, I'll be focusing on the Activities section, adding some more specific information regarding activities in specific regions. This is the section I am most worried about sounding too 'market-y'. Sphcow (talk) 22:39, 31 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

There is a nice video available that takes people through one of the Direct Engineering engagements that the NSRC did with Uganda's Infectious Diseases Institute. It was published by the NSRC, but is posted on YouTube. [[1]]. Still trying to balance self-referencing and offering useful material. I hope to post a photo of some of the classes soon.
