This institute has been granted University status

edit

change Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology to Netaji Subhas University of Technology.
NSIT is now Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT). I cannot give any citations as this change hasn't been reported by any news agency. I know this link won't count as a citation, but this is the only proof of my claim[1]. Else, you may officially contact the institute to verify. 116.74.61.241 (talk) 07:30, 16 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Not done: You're correct, a random Facebook picture is not a reliable source - especially when the school's own website still shows it as NSIT. If you can provide better sources showing this change (press release? change listed on the school's official website or social media?) then this can be reconsidered. ‑‑ElHef (Meep?) 14:36, 16 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please remove Chairman Rahul Chaudhry[1] from the right menu as this institute is upgraded to University. The Chairman don't exists now. It was in existence when NSUT was NSIT Also Update the following- 1) Nickname as NSUT in place of NSIT 2) Website - www.nsut.ac.in Abhishekfaujdar (talk) 07:01, 3 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Done (Mostely) I removed both the director and the chairman, per your clarification. I also updated the website. I removed the nickname since that's not the purpose of the field, see {{infobox university}}. --Muhandes (talk) 08:25, 3 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

1) State briefly about cultural activities, fests and other student activities.

2) Only a few alumni are given. Kindly add all the alumni.

3) State the vision & history of the college like how it was Delhi Institute of Technology earlier.

4) East spelling is wrong. It's written eest campus. SummerWood7086 (talk) 06:49, 3 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Chancellor post is always kept for "LG of Delhi", so instead, it is better to write "Lieutenant Governor of Delhi", so that u don't have to update every time the Lieutenant Governor is changed. For reference, look for wiki pages of other universities in Delhi 2409:4088:9D93:A464:0:0:548A:9B04 (talk) 14:16, 3 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
