Location
editHi! I saw this edit which stated that the school is in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. While the mailing address says "Langhorne, PA", the school is not physically in Langhorne. It's actually in Middletown Township. Therefore having the article saying the school is in Langhorne would be misleading.
- " The U.S. Postal Service establishes ZIP codes and mailing addresses in order to maximize the efficiency of their system, not to recognize jurisdictional boundaries." - And it goes on to state instances where a place may be in one city but have a post address saying a different city.
Since it's been established that US postal address "city names" are sometimes misleading, the way to determine where a place really is is to compare the physical location to a map of the township. This is the map of Middletown Township, Bucks County on the US Census Bureau. The PDF document's page 4 matches with the physical location.
The general public has misconceptions of where places really are in the US, and these articles should say where places are located. I know that many members of the public are confused by this, so I hope this explains why I restored the location as Middletown Township.

- BTW I found a notice in a newspaper from 1954 which identifies the school as being in Middletown Township (the mailing address is later stated as "Langhorne Pa."), Additionally the 2022 budget of Middletown Township states "Neshaminy High School, located in Middletown Township,[...]" (document page 239, PDF p. 239/258). I made the budget sentence citation the first line of the reference. WhisperToMe (talk) 23:55, 26 December 2022 (UTC)
- Agreed, to the best of my recollection, I made that change in the location based on the mailing address, but the other location data is more compelling. Meleager91 (talk) 21:49, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
