presents a one-sided opinion on the subject (which it ironically enough criticises as being "monolithic").
this is a particular academic-ideological "pov"; other views & (more complete) criticisms of the concept/term need to be included.
also, much of the text reads like an uncritical regurgitation of somebody's sociology-class textbook.

- I added the nnpov banner, not sure if it was originally added and removed without proper discussion or if it was never added at all. The points you make still stand today with this article, it's not very well presented in the meta-sense as a concept and rather presented as a blurb of a single set of authors and their sociology theory. Needs expansion with a criticisms section and better encyclopedic framing. parqs (talk) 21:53, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
