Neutral point of view edit

The article as it stood sought to play down the criticism that Nunes initially faced from listeners. The fact is that he was voted "the most irritating radio voice" on Radio 4. I have thus used more neutral wording, and added a reference to the poll results that the BBC refused to broadcast. --Wally Tharg (talk) 21:17, 5 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

How extraordinary! I was aware of none of this - I think Neil Nunes has the most distinctive and listenable voice on the Radio, perfect antidote to Peter White, who always sounds like he's on the verge of giggling ;-) 31.52.233.129 (talk) 19:34, 8 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Or Nick Robinson, who often does actually giggle (usually at inappropriate times in a serious, life-threatening story), or interject a sceptical "Mmm" with a tone of insufferable boredom. 2.28.151.187 (talk) 00:28, 10 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Doctorate? edit

The article states that Nunes has a "PHD" from Exeter University yet a search of their library catalogue draws a blank for this name. Since the article indicates he didn't finish his undergraduate studies, he doesn't have a degree which is a pre-requisite for studying at a higher level at British Universities. When did he attend Exeter, how did he meet their admission requirements and when was the virus "PHD" awarded?92.23.30.210 (talk) 18:16, 12 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Neil Nunes has said on his own Twitter than he doesn't have a PhD from Exeter - see https://twitter.com/neilnunes1/status/962973236362440704 WrenDiverted (talk) 00:05, 7 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
