What was returned edit

It appears that the substantial part, or all, that was on show, was artificial. Automated translation provides:

“To the Government of Spain it gave equal him which was given back. The cost of the transport was going to be the same. If they had insisted on they wanted which it as he were we had brought thus it, although with certain doubts on if we did the best thing”, Garrigues explained, for that “to give that one doll with stucco, serrín, rods of iron and a wood spine to them could have been a humiliation”.

So what was returned was close to all, or all the original material (there is some question over who it also granted that conserved something of skin, although “covered with stucco and bitumen”.  : whether this was returned or not the translation does not make clear, although it appears not.

I have amended the article accordingly, which otherwise seemed to imply that original organs were removed and kept by the museum.
