Meaning of "Necromantis" edit

Necromantis does not mean "death-eater" as claimed by the article (and some off-site pages). It means "necromancer"; there's even a Wiktionary entry for it. Could someone who can gain access to the cited sources confirm whether Weithofer really thought it meant "death-eater", so that we could at least clarify that he made a mistake in his understanding of what the combination means rather than simply remove that line outright? @MarqFJA87: I added the link to the original publication to the reference in the article, but it is in German, and thus not much help to me. The second source that was cited was to a book, which does say that it means "death-eater". Enwebb (talk) 06:12, 23 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

That still leaves the likely possibility that Weithofer didn't really know his Greek well and thus mistakenly thought that Necromantis could mean "death-eater". It's not like the first time a scientist has made such an error. Any objections to adding a note that clarifies the error? MarqFJA87 (talk) 19:09, 23 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
