Not all of us who collect Nazi Memorabilia are full blown nut jobs.I have been collecting since I was 5 years old and now at 50 have built one of the largest collection in New England.My collection have been put to good work by schools and by other to teach all about WW2 the Nazi and The Holocoust.In a few years there will not be one WW2 Vet left to talk about the war,then all you will have are the artifacts around to tell the story of the largest event in the history of mankind.Then what collect all this stuff up and burn it,what good is that all you will do then is give ammo to the other side.Thay will say prove it happen where are the artifacts??History is not a playtoy or someting you can go into any say "Hay I DO NOT LIKE THIS TIME,LETS DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT".You have to take the good with the bad,putting your head in the sand and hopeing it goes away.Or trying to hide things that are unplesent so as not to upset someone or worst yet being (PC} is not going to help matter's.Onc can not change the past it is forevery writen in stone.We read,study,think,all that has happen in the past to gain abetter understanding of what went on.Anyone who think's thay can play god by remakeing the past as thay would like to see it,or by pulling thing's out that upset them are fools on a grand scale.And do more harm then good,it is in our own best being to be on gard when someone trays to alter the past.The Nazi are part of that past and by collecting this darkside of mankind we are enriched by this not to give the everlasting life but to show,thay were once hear and that we should remember all the evil thay did.And in the end thay were placed in the dust bin of history forever to be watch and talk about for all th bad thay did and to show other that it was worng for this to happen.That is why I collect so we can remember the past so events will not repeat.Google my name Darrell English to see my life work — Preceding unsigned comment added by Darrell K.English (talk • contribs)
