US Navy too edit

I think Navy News is also the name of a United States Navy newspaper. MiNombreDeGuerra 17:54, 13 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Plain English Campaign Award edit

Have removed the Plain English Campaign Award. This is an award by a commercial Astroturfing company to people who take its courses, not a recognized award. All it really means is "I have paid for a training course from the Plain English Campaign". It is understandable that people believe that this reward means something, but it is in fact a form of advertising from the commercial company. Mike Young (talk) 09:32, 24 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

The founder of PEC was given an OBE for their efforts in this field, it is clearly a notable award. If you want to discuss your change, do so here so that other editors can give their opinion. As it stands, noting an award which is notable, even if given by a commercial company, is worthy of inclusion. You appear to be on a crusade against inclusion of the award, yet you don't appear to provide any evidence for what you are saying. (Hohum @) 18:17, 25 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
