Needs copyediting edit

I've tried cleaning up this article, which I just stumbled across, but it needs copyediting from someone who actually knows something about this subject - which I do not. Ifnord

I did some harsh editing on the article just now. I thought the pacing and balancing of it all was just not comprehensible. Feel free to revert the changes, in case you disagree. Rexas 18:25, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Short list of problems edit

-No evidence that Natsuki hates her father -No evidence that Natsuki's mother is dead -Does not clearly explain what Shizuru did to Natsuki

1) Well, in one epsiode, it shows briefly that Natsuki's father allegedly have left with a mistress. That why she hates him.

2) There's no evidence to show she's not exactly alive, either. She could have been in a persistent vegetative state, though.

  • She seems to be dead. The scene of Natsuki throwing flowers into the ocean (as well as the fact that they are white lillies, in Japan white = death) seems to indicate that her mother is dead. Katsuhagi 01:53, 24 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

3) In episode 22, it does IMPLY that Shizuru sexually assaulted Natsuki. However, this is subjective as Natsuki could have been thinking of what Shizuru could have done to her while Yukino was talking. Slur 14:48, 11 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Regarding point one... Which episode was that? Do remind. --Warp L. Obscura 12:28, 21 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

= edit

Yes, there is evidence that Natsuki hates her father. It's mentioned in the mini novel entitled "Natsuki no Prelude" Or simply Natsuki's prelude which is covered in both the official "Mai Hime animation books: Volumes 1 and 2" Here's a translation of what was said: "After leaving the bar, Natsuki straddled her bike, that was parked earlier in the back of the bar, and tied her hair back to put on her helmet. Her beloved vehicle which she aqcuired only a month ago. A foreign type, the same model that her father once owned. Natsuki didn't really know why she had chosen this model. Because Natsuki hated her father."

It continues to explain *why* she hated her father. There's other interesting stuff about her father's affair but I'm not sure if I should mention it - WK --Lonewolfkuga 14:39, 16 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Article Quality edit

I went ahead and rewrote most of the article to bring it to a higher standard of quality. I think I've ironed out most of the kinks, both grammar and content-wise, but feel free to change anything you think you might have to in order to have the quality notice removed. -- Filter 07:12, 9 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Natsuki's mother edit

It says in the HiME manga section that Natsuki's mother is still alive. I've only read the first volume, but it was said she was killed. Is this fact shown in later volumes, or is this refering to the Otome manga? Linkforlife 04:30, 7 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • Later volumes, although it also applies to the Otome manga. When it becomes apparent, I cannot remember offhand. --Warp L. Obscura 08:33, 7 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Trivia edit

In astrology, Leo doesn't govern the hips. It governs the cardio-vascular system, the back, and the spine. Furthermore, Natsuki's HiME mark is actually on her lower back, even though it appears to be on or near her left hip. This was confirmed by a close up shot in episode one. If there aren't any objections (any hardcore astrologists out there?), I'd like to edit that little bit of trivia. -- Filter 07:12, 9 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Trivia (Trailer for Episode...) edit

Just a little Mistake that's been fixed: It's the Preview/ Trailer for Episode 11 at the End of Episode 10, not the Preview/ Trailer for Episode 10 at the End of Episode 9. (I've checked it) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 85.232.26.24 (talk) 15:27, 4 January 2007 (UTC).Reply

Article Scope edit

This is more in response to the most recent edits than anything else (recent as of 08 February 2007), but...

This article should focus on Natsuki as much as possible. However, I don't think a complete rundown of her actions in My-HiME and My-Otome is necessary. I want to know about the character, but not how she did X in episode Y with side-character Z. That's just too much information. Besides, if I wanted a story synopsis, I'd drop by the My-HiME and My-Otome articles themselves.

Also, to whomever made the edits in question, spellcheck exists for a reason. And please consult the FAQ to learn how to make working links to other articles. I was going to edit everything myself, but the sheer volume of new (and in my opinion, unnecessary) information proved too much for me. Filter 13:12, 8 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I did some work on it too, and while some information was good too much of it seemed unecessary, so I did some trimming. It also seemed to not be portraying the Shizuru/Natsuki relationship in a proper light, so I changed some wording. I've mentioned before how with the incident at the manor we should just stick to saying we know Shizuru disrobed, lay down next to her, and we don't know anything else. I think I have it at a good state now, but it might need a cleanup tag. Katsuhagi 14:25, 8 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
I went through the article and attempted to whittle it down a bit. I kept some of what was added, naturally, but I ended up deleting most of the fluff. I think it's much better this way. Also, was Natsuki's mother working for SEARRS, First District, or both? I don't have access to my DVDs right now, so I can't check for myself. Filter 02:33, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Natsuki states in Ep. 18 I think that her mother was a researcher for the First District but then attempted to sell Natsuki to Searrs and then tried to flee to them from the First District. John Smith comments that Natsuki might have become a Searrs member (probably like Alyssa) if her mother had succeeded. Deus-Helios 05.01, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Details details... edit

I understand that the articles for My-HiME need to be 'to the point'; however, the way this Natsuki page is being edited, the article lacks much information, facts and basic interesting stuff an encyclopedia should have. In short - its boring. Many other more developed pages on anime characters have detailed biographies, that detail personality as well as major events. This article is as vague as can be, and I added the much needed facts because the main page has pretty much nothing on the series. The character pages are seriously lacking, and so much information is being cut out, that this page is almost totally pointless because it gives you a rundown of the character - nothing else. Spoilers alerts are there for a reason, and getting an insight into a great anime series is half the fun of Wiki. I think far more info is needed in all the pages, and I would be more than happy to discuss what more should be added to this page.

I apologize for not posting my edits on the discussion earlier; I am new to this, and I certainly have read the FAQ. I just need more practice, so please bear with me. I have insight into the whole series (with all 26 eps on my computer, as well as having seen the DVD Omake Specials, and the manga on my computer as well), so any disputes on clarity can be handled by me referencing the canon work (though translation debates may arise ^_^). I really look forward to adding not only to this particular article, but to the whole of Wikipedia as well. Thanx! Saintvlas22 12:06, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think we all appreciate the effort, and I understand that it can be hard at first to figure out exactly how things work. It's in general a difficult balance between getting information you want in and keeping to the format. In the edits I made I generally tried to cut down things that had been repeated elsewhere (such as in Shizuru's article) but I think if you have something to add just to be safe it's a good idea to put it here first, as I know I check this almost daily so would very likely see anything new. Katsuhagi 18:04, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Duran edit

It was always my interpretation that Duran was supposed to be a reference to Durandal, the sword of Roland. It may not have the same obvious meaning as Mai's Kagutsuchi or Shizuru's Kiyohime, but it makes more sense than Duran Duran. I've also heard that it could be a based from Dylan from Celtic Mythology. Wererat42 05:06, 8 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well... If you choose to believe Static-Subs...

Is that it? --Warp L. Obscura 09:48, 8 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think Duran might be the Irish reference, but as far as the manga goes I think Saeko's Child was referencing the band. Katsuhagi 14:57, 8 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Someone on animesuki said that in Natsuki's Prelude it is stated that Natsuki was the first to receive her child and her elements after she met Shizuru and that it was called Yafusa. However sensing that it was lonely Natsuki hugged it and named it Duran. Does anyone else know about this? Deus-Helios 05.15, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Actually in Natsuki's Prelude it mentions that Natsuki's father had a Ducati (same bike as Natsuki's model) and named it the "Duran Mark II" based on his love for British Bands.Lonewolfkuga (talk) 09:05, 2 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

And to answer Deus-Helios question, yes in Natsuki's Prelude it points out that she was the first to receive her child. And she awakened her powers (apparently it was a painful experience as it felt like she was going through mentrual cramps (yes it does mention this in the mini novel) as well as encountered her child when she was in middle school. After this occurs Nagi briefly says to himself that "Shizuru was next". I can scan the page if anyone here needs it. It also comes with an image of Natsuki being frightened of Duran at first as he was not in his familiar form yet. Lonewolfkuga (talk) 09:10, 2 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Concerning Akane edit

Natsuki does save Akane; more specifically, she takes Akane out of the hospital (the dialogue in episode 13 implies Iwasaka Pharmeceutical - aka Searrs - controls it) and takes her to a private doctor with Yamada's help. Akane calls Natsuki in ep. 16-17 and talks to her; later, Yamada tells Natsuki that he's moved Akane to another hospital, one free of connections to a major organization. Natsuki's Prelude edit

Quoting significant amounts of text doesn't follow WP:FAIR, even as a translation. A proper reference would be which guidebook it comes from and possibly what page(s). I'd think one or two lines about Natsuki's Prelude is good enough. Phony Saint 20:41, 9 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

The most recent revisions edit

I undid most of it for various reasons:

  • "situations usually involving flashing people" - indecent exposure and exposing underwear are two different things.
  • "get into embarassing situations." - that replaced the statement about her irritation, which is far more common than three incidents where she's "exposed".
  • "Natsuki seeks the truth regarding her mother's death at the hands of the First District; wealthy, well-informed and resourceful she carries out her mission with a cold determination at the expense of all other concerns." - I'm not sure how she's specifically wealthy, well-informed, or resourceful. She never seeks the truth about her mother's death (already thinking she knows everything about it), rather seeking revenge.
  • "and is a skilled motorcyclist which she often uses to get around, failing that she has access to a helicopter and a speed boat." - grammar issues aside, we don't know if she does have access or those were one-time deals. WP:WAF#Reliable Sources and Original Research.
  • "The origin of Duran is believed to be..." - WP:AWW, WP:OR.
  • The My-HiME manga section - specific details aren't necessary.
  • "a trait which has earned considerable popularity amongst fans" - cite it.
  • "Her tendency to get into embarassing situations is still carried through and she tends to lose her robe at the most inconvinient times as a running gag in both the anime and manga." - she gets into one embarrassing situation, and she loses her Robe twice in the anime as a plot device, not a joke. (She doesn't lose her Robe whatsoever in the manga.)

Phony Saint 15:55, 21 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ok I get somethings are trivial but does this mean other character pages will get editted in the future? I find her page very sparse compared to all the other character pages which has pretty extensive details regarding some equally trivial things.

She gets irritated slightly over trivial things as is typical of her type of 'serious' character. But generally gets into embarassing situations almost as much. She flashed Takeda in ep. 4, then was pinned by him in ep. 8 and then had her hitch-hike mishap in the same ep. Nao also cuts her pants in otome. Common characteristics leaves me with the impression that it's for both hime and otome which makes me wonder if lingerie collecting and mayonnaise still count because I don't recall any such traits in otome anime, manga or omake.

Trivial details I suppose but Nao comments on her wealth and she is seen bribing Yamada, she has access to a speed boat with radio jammers in ep. 1 and jumps out a helicopter when Searrs attacks. John Smith also says that he paid her mother for Natsuki though I'll admit it doesn't mean Natsuki has the money. Is it worth noting she rides a motorbike then?

I guess given the ambiguity of Duran's origins its not worth noting but I do wonder about it. Is it even worth noting unreferenced possibilities and is that a waste of space?

She seeks a bit of both revenge and the truth. In episode 8 she goes to the shoreside lab where her mother worked to find out information regarding her mother where she finds the toy dog with the bank account number on its collar then has Yamada look it up which mean she still seeks the truth regarding it. She also willing barters secrets regarding her mother with John Smith. She also doesn't directly attack the First District either and tells Shizuru before their battle that she intends to stop her from killing more First District people. Rather she simply wants to thwart them.

She is never shown in the anime liking mayo (only in a omake) but I suppose you are right in that fans were probably influenced by either or both the manga and omake. But I suppose saying that it is more emphasized in the manga is probably the most correct way of putting. Also while some of the omakes can be taken for canon the omake with her eating mayo is only some high comical chibi scene with her talking about children and orphans while pouring an unnamed white substance into her ramen in large quantities then stirring it around.

Would be better to say she is unable to access her robe at the most inconvinient times because when Sergay makes his move and attacks Garderobe Natsuki attempts to materialize only to be met with silence and when she finally materializes she has a thought bubble saying "Finally I'm wearing it." When she fights Aswad it deactivates then after she fires at the Valkyrie core it switches off again and in Zwei it breaks down once more.

Dark Natsuki is shown hating girls with larger busts than herself in the otome manga when she attacks Erstin then Kruger fires her cannon exposing her paddings. Should I add the chapter reference or is it too trivial.

Also why was she removed from the categories of people who have Ice Powers and fictional lesbian/gay/bisexuals? Ok Ice power is arguable because its Duran that has Ice powers but her bullets in the manga are shown to able to freeze that water orphan and it is quite strongly implied that she is Shizuru's lover in the otome. Also the gunslingers section contains characters that are not very obviously western or from western settings however Natsuki's gun use in HiME seems western inspired; she twirls her revolver like pistols on her fingers to summon Duran.

Deus-Helios 04:42, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Dark Kuga's attitude towards other girls with larger busts is stated in Chapter 36, page 5. --Warp L. Obscura 08:56, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Dark Kuga says she despises Erstin's breasts, which doesn't therefore mean all girls'. (Why doesn't Dark Kuga say anything to Dark Mai or any of the other girls in the series with larger busts?) At best you could say she dislikes Erstin, but then that starts to become trivial. Maybe a comment on her consciousness of smaller breast size would be best.
  • Natsuki doesn't become LGBT if she's the object of affection of someone who is LGBT. Otherwise, Nina is also LGBT, as she is the object of affection for Erstin. I could also make a case for Natsuki being asexual, as director Obara says "[Natsuki] may have problems with romance in general." [1]
  • Ice powers was removed as that category was deleted, along with many other fictional power categories.
  • Whether or not anybody else can figure out what a gunslinger is, Natsuki definitely isn't one. That other articles are categorized incorrectly doesn't mean that this one should be as well.
  • You could say about Natsuki's lack of Robe: "One running gag in My-Otome is Natsuki's infrequent use of Robe and her happiness when using it." It's not that she is unable to use Robe, but that she never gets to. Phony Saint 18:36, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oh, and regarding the other character articles: they're far, far too detailed, trivial, and unverified, especially considering that the majority of them are secondary characters. But that's something that we contributors have to agree to work on. Phony Saint 19:04, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

In other words you're attempting to make a massive clean-up to character pages starting with the most important characters then? Seems a bit sad given that wikipedia is an open public page and somewhat unfair from a non-moderator POV. Also how would you really define the parameters needed to be met before a character is considered gunslinger? Must it be a strictly western setting or just with western themes because in that case then Kruger doesn't count but Kuga could? Maybe it should be changed to gun-wielders. Deus-Helios 05:18, 23 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Gun wielders is fine if there is such a category (I don't see one). Gunslingers is not, and Western themes is a bit of a stretch for My-HiME.
Also, it is my right to choose what I want to edit, provided I haven't violated any guidelines or policies. That the older secondary character pages could use major editing isn't my problem currently. Phony Saint 15:46, 23 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

With all this heavy editting going around, I was wondering if there would be a renewed need for the organisational boon of a WikiProject, as mentioned on the MH talk page? Perhaps a Task Force, since the latter allows us to build on the existing WikiProject Anime and Manga framework rather than having to build from the ground up and fear a loss of relevance in future. --Warp L. Obscura 12:52, 23 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

A task force is better due to low membership and limited scope. I'd be up for it. Phony Saint 15:46, 23 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wouldn't that require some collabaration and therefore some effort put into discussion since everyone has slightly or majorly different interpretations of things not to mention access to different bits of information floating around? Deus-Helios 19:07, 24 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

To Deus-Helios: Actually the thing about Natsuki liking Mayo is stated on her Profile page. In both the Mai Hime Animation Data (guide) books as well as the Sunrise website where her profile also exists. It's listed under her favorite foods. Here's the website and her answer is in Katakana since it's Mayonaise Q:好きな食べ物は? 「マヨネーズ」

LGBT issues edit

About the LGBT category, I still think she should be in it, because there is evidence in both series that she returns Shizuru's feelings (Natsuki no Prelude, the official guidebook). Just because she has problems with romance doesn't mean she's asexual. And I would argue that it's almost certain that she's Shizuru's lover in Otome, which would have her qualify.Katsuhagi 22:33, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

"Almost certain" does not mean "certain." As much as I along with the rest of the ShizNat crowd would like to say it's true, nothing specifically says her relationship with Shizuru goes any further than platonic love - I can't find anything to cite that would say so. We do not know explicitly what their relationship is in either series, so we shouldn't be the ones to say one way or another. Phony Saint 02:16, 23 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

I split this off just to keep some order on the category, but there is an Otome drama CD that seems to confirm their relationship. I found something of a translation here but I'm positive there was more. The official guidebooks also seem to suggest it's romantic, and either Natsuki no Prelude or the guidebook says she loves Shizuru using a word that I'm pretty sure is specifically used for romantic love after she rejects Takeda. I wish I could find the translation, as I've seen it around and remember reading it. I'll still see if I can find it somewhere. Katsuhagi 03:23, 23 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
Found it, and I'm pretty sure the original Japanese read "Shizuru wo Aishiteru" if I'm remembering my kanji correctly, which is much stronger than "suki" which I think is what she said in episode 25 to Shizuru. It also makes a certain amount of sense that they'd keep any "proof" confined to drama CDs and guidebooks, given the position of homosexuality in Japan. Also I find it hard to believe that the scene in Otome with the bathing suits and Shizuru feeling her up is platonic. Katsuhagi 03:26, 23 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
I don't think that they have a problem with confining proof to guidebooks and drama CDs, given their portrayals of Shizuru, Erstin, and Tomoe in the anime series. What Natsuki does is far more ambiguous, and while I wouldn't object to saying that Natsuki does have feelings for Shizuru, the exact nature of their relationship is still unknown.
I wouldn't oppose the LGBT tag now, but attempting to define their relationship is speculation. Phony Saint 15:39, 23 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

A lot of things are far too subjective if you ask me and lots of people are too picky over the matter if there isn't enough "Oh I love please make love to me right now in the classroom!" going around. Not to mention radio dramas, omakes and extras usually aren't considered canon even if they do seem plausible. Even that scene at the pool is arguably one-sided love/lust, Natsuki strikes me as someone who wouldn't mind having Shizuru feel her up on the occasion for Shizuru's sake seeing as she isn't bother by Shizuru's supposed rape in Mai Hime letting it slide without a fuss. Natsuki also strikes me not as asexual but overly desexed a stark contrast to Shizuru who is overly sexed up. I mean that woman has probably bedded more women than Reito and Sergay put together :). Deus-Helios 05:30, 23 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

My thoughts, —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.2.108.39 (talk) 00:07, 15 October 2008 (UTC) It should be noted that in Mai Otome, Shizuru appears to have some sexual relationship with Tomoe so she can get information or something of the sort. Later on, Shizuru tells Natsuki that she was "able to have some fun" refering to this. While she doesn't directly tell Natsuki what exactly happened, it was be kind of insensitive to use that term when describing an affair to your own lover. Hence, I don't think they are lovers in Mai Otome. I tend to think she's most likely asexual.Reply

I also think the reason why the guidebook states they are in a relationship is due to the pairing becoming so popular. If they wrote Natsuki with the intent on being a lesbian, she wouldn't have directly stated she can't love Shizuru that way in the anime. Oddly, they might have originally been slightly open to a relationship with Takeda, but only because she acted super harshly to him after telling Natsuki not to get too close to her. As well as the fact that he appears in one of her post-episode specials. But I'd actually say NatsukiXShizuru is more likely than that one.....

Natsuki's age and class edit

Natsuki is specifically in class 1-B (meaning a first-year) with Akane Higurashi. One of the fansubs incorrectly translates a sentence to say that she is in her second year. Her statement in the later episode is after her birthday, according to the official site. Phony Saint 18:27, 27 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

In one of the episodes I watched, Natsuki stated to Mai that she is 17 years old and she missed a year of school

and that's why she's not in her proper age group class Musicalmelodygirl 00:09, 28 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

If she was in her proper age class, she'd be a second-year. However, she is a first-year: one lower than her proper year. There are no named second-year students in My-HiME. In the fourth omake, Shizuru states that she was in her third year of middle school when Natsuki was in her first. Phony Saint 00:31, 28 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

She missed one because of her mother's murder. Also at the end of My-Hime Sakomizu told her she had to repeat her first year because of her HiME work meaning she's two years behind. On a funny note it means that Mai will be 2nd year right after the last episode and Mikoto will be joining Natsuki in 1st High School. Lol! Deus-Helios 9:31, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Sakomizu said that Natsuki would have to take extra classes or else retake the first year of high school. My-HiME has yet to cover what happened next, so we don't know what she did. Phony Saint 14:40, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Thanks I forgot about that. That is assuming she bothers, then again she's practically Sam Fisher Jr. so she probably will, come to think of it I wonder what Shizuru will do stay or graduate. Deus-Helios 9:31, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Kruger = Potter?! edit

I was wondering did anyone else look up the meaning of Kruger. It means Potter in High German the same as Harry Potter. When I thought about I noticed a lot of odd similarities. Harry Potter has black hair and green eyes same as Natsuki in the manga and even in the anime she has green eyes and dark hair (even if its blue). He's a student a magic school while she's the principal of a school of magical girls. Harry has a thunderbolt scar on his forehead and she has a thunderbolt hairpin on her brow. You think it's a coincidence or a subtle joke? Deus-Helios 9.00, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

I've been trying to figure out what her Otome surname means too, and that's certainly a possibility. My thought thought was that "Kuruga" (how it's pronounced) is pretty close to Kuga, but Harry Potter is a possibility. I think it's a bit on the speculative side, but certainly possible. Katsuhagi 12:40, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
I thought Kuga sounding like Kruger was a possibility too but all the other characters: Shiho Huit, Akane Soir, Shizuru Viola all have surnames that subtly relate to their previous surnames to some European name or some such so figured there must be some deeper meaning. On a side note Kuga is believed to be historically derived from Koga which is a samurai clan, one of the Kogas infact named Haruko Koga became the actress Yoshiki Kuga. I think the image of Natsuki as a samurai (her personality and character style bear samurai-like honor and chivalry etc.) fits with Shizuru as a samurai wife (naginata and her noble bearing are trademarks of samurai women). Common Characteristics? edit

Mayo and lingerie collecting is listed under her common characteristics is that really correct? She's shown in the Orphan explanation omake adding a whole bottle of mayo (or at least what looks like it) into her ramen but doesn't do so near the end when she eats at Mai's place though her profile lists her favourite food as mayo and lingerie is mostly restricted to the anime and only touched upon in the manga when Tate gets crushed under a pile of bras and panties while in her apartment (the scene seems to mostly emphasize her closet girlishness which Shizuru mentions in the 4th omake). They're completely absent in My-Otome. Also wouldn't embarassing herself or getting into embarassing situations suit her better across the four media better than mayo and lingerie?--Deus-Helios 05:33, 28 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Lingerie collection is mentioned for Kruger somewhere in the Drama CDs. IDK about the mayo though. --Warp L. Obscura 05:32, 28 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Alright in that case there is probably a drama CD about mayo for Kruger as well then that someone was able to access. Mostly I'm under the impression that mayo is simply a very popular gag, if you look around fanfic.net and various fanarts mayo jokes are very common for her even though her anime incarnation gags mostly center around her getting in embarrassing situations like when she flashes Takeda, Mai and Mikoto and when she poses for hitchhiking and in Otome when Nao cuts her belt to hitchhike.--Deus-Helios 07:33, 28 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Countess? edit

--202.7.150.150 14:35, 29 June 2007 (UTC) I remember being mentions that she came from an unknown location owned by a Count Kruger but it makes no mention if she is a Countess herself. This isn't on the page anymore, why?Reply

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

File:MOmangaTwoNatsukis.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion edit

An image used in this article, File:MOmangaTwoNatsukis.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 3 December 2011

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review
