Affiliation is not identification

Sources cited indicating association or feudal affiliations with the Natoli family are cited as if they are proof of identification with and/or descent from ancient and distinguised noble or royal individuals and families. In fact, just because the lordship of this or that manor was once held by individuals of different names does not prove that those individuals were related or that they belong to the same family. Those kinships still need to be proven with unambiguous source to substantiate the kinships and possessions claimed in the article. I've seen nothing which proves that the Italian Natoli are the French Nanteuils or lords of the lands possessed by some Nanteuils. FactStraight (talk) 14:46, 23 October 2015 (UTC)

it is normal that the names are changed over the centuries and especially from france to italy Italianised, there are endless evidence of this in the texts and sources and references.

eg family comes from Antoglietto Castle near Paris, only a minor branch was named Antoglietta, others from de Nanteuil (de Nantolio in Latin) and then became the Natoli Natoli. All historical criticism confirms what. You did not read the notes.

Here read: Philippus Nantolii (LATIN translation di Nantoli and next Natoli) or (on the side) de Nanteuil (pubblishing in 1743), but only an example.
