No evidence available that addresses how national public health efforts had any effect on the outbreak including whether a flatten of the curve happened

Articles that speculate on the behaviour of COVID transmission lack examination of the populations behaviour when subjected to the mandated rules. Evidence provided relies on prevention methods used by individuals and select public spaces which people were deemed compliant and non compliant, without examining how the mandated rules affected the population and whether increasing distance of individuals in controlled areas compared to uncontrolled areas.

Lack of infection mapping information prevents study of closing spaces of large gatherings and whether that increased or decreased transmission rates.

The effect of masks on transmission rates is inconclusive as factors of cleanliness, proper wearing, or desired behaviour taught to the population and studies of if masks were worn according to standards prevents making conclusions on the effect of mandated mask rules.

The rules of the prevention of COVID so far provided pertain to desired behaviour of the individual and however there have been no established guidelines for policies of groups of people or regions is absent. And evidence gathered to date cannot be used to establish guidelines for groups the closer to universal compliance is needed to achieve results.

Cost-benefit analysis is absent, including attempts at understanding the populations desire for action and whether an adequate number within the population believed action was necessary, which may have affected the populations behaviour and whether enforcement increased conflict, as well as boredom, isolation, and discomfort. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joedegrob (talkcontribs)
