BLP Template
editIn case there are questions, I added the BLP Others template here because of material regarding living current and former conductors of the NSO. In particular, the page has material regarding former conductor Leonard Slatkin that could be perceived as negative, so although the material is properly sourced, I thought this template should be included. Marvin Hamlisch
editMarvin Hamlisch was the Principal Pops Director from 2000 to 2011 ([1]), which seems worthy of mention. I'm not quite sure what to do with it, though. —[AlanM1 (talk)]— 19:08, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
"were" or "are"?
editFrom the introduction: "They were the official orchestra for the National Memorial Day Concert and A Capitol Fourth."
Why "were"? These are both an annual events, I think. Aren't they still the official orchestra? Omc (talk) 16:43, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
