I've seen reports that the March 2–3, 2012 tornado outbreak destroyed the Morgan County Courthouse as well as the replacement that was under construction. I drove through West Liberty ten days ago, and I was impressed that they'd built a new courthouse just like the old. However, see this story — the "old" was something that replaced the NR-listed courthouse, which apparently suffered much less damage than many other buildings. The top of the courthouse clearly got destroyed, but they've rebuilt it since then. Nyttend (talk) 02:54, 9 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
