I began to edit the copy, but quickly discovered that I needed to do more research to sort out the history. It appears that the National Party arose out of the Bloc National, which has opposed the Ottoman Turks, and later the French colonial government. More to follow. Kindly, verify your sources as there are over 300 pages about the National Party, and the majority of these pages have lots of missing information which it will create a confusion to both researchers and readers. I will try to provide you with accurate resources for your page as it seems that the current sources of yours is inaccurate, therefore, it is not correctly presented, and it is mixed and need to be sorted out in historical manner, to be able to present true and correct facts. National Party founded in 1947, by Nabih AL AZMEH, the brother of Yousef AL AZMEH Minstry of War 1920 (1886 - 1920) Lots of important names are missing, especially the founder and leader of the party who is "Nabih AL AZMEH", and his successor "Sabri Al ASALI", Tony LIAN, Lutfi Al HAFFAR AbdellRahman Al KAYALI, Adel Al AZMEH (Brother of Nabih Al AZMEH) and many dignitaries at that time. Home base were Damascus, not Aleppo Shukri Al QUATLI never assume leadership of the party, however, he was considered one of the few key members of the party. Was not born from the dissolved "National Bloc", the members of the "National Bloc" after 1939 they dispersed, and few formed the "People Party" in Aleppo, and few formed the "Lebanese National Bloc" in Lebanon, and few Formed the "National Party" in Damascus, if you are aware, the original "National Bloc" contained Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese politicians. I'm unclear whether the article is about the old National Party or the new one. There seems to be information on both on the same page (within the same para no less) and it is quite confusing.Uaiyer (talk) 13:04, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
