Talk:National Anthem of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia

Thank you edit

Thank you for the kind soul who have corrected the spellings in the lyrics. I'm so happy to see it, as when I copied it from David Kendall's national anthem page, I was unable to get the symbols here. And I know nothing about Serbian nor Croatian nor Slovenian. --Edmundkh 11:21, 19 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Merge proposal edit

The article on the National Anthem of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia is far better than the article, titled: Anthem of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. And, there should not be two of them. -- Imbris (talk) 23:34, 17 June 2009 (UTC)   Agree Of course, it should be merged, those are two articles on the same topic. I'll do it. English lyrics vs translation edit

I think that translation reflects closer the meaning and spirit of lyrics. Those english lyrics were quite off the mark anyway, so I went and changed them.

One note for people who might want to edit them in the future. Verb "hraniti" in modern Serbian/Croatian/Montenegreen means "to feed", but in 19th century (when those lyrics were written) it stood for "to protect, to guard". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.93.136.64 (talk) 08:55, 21 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
