Name of the company
editThe official name of the company is "Nation Multimedia Group". I want to propose renaming this page to reflect the actual name of the company. Also, it is not necessary to include "The" because that is not part of the company's official name (as opposed to "The New York Times Company"). It is simply "Nation Multimedia Group". For now, I'm just going to correct this in the body of the article. Tettyan 04:23, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
- Done. I hope to come back to this. Kom Chad Luek should have its own article as well, it think.
- Cool. Now Kom Chad Luek has its own article. Once this story is off the main page, I would suggest moving the bulk of the controversy section to the Kom Chad Luek article. Wisekwai 06:46, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
2022 name change
editSo article titled "Nation Multimedia Group" which is fine with me as the top of their website says "Nation Multimedia Group". BUT the top of the article says "Nation Group (Thailand) Public Company Limited" which is probably why name of company was changed in another article FROM "Nation Multimedia Group" to "Nation Group" which seems incorrect if company's own website says "Nation Multimedia Group". This wikipedia article does include the claim "2022: Company renamed "Nation Group (Thailand) Public Company Limited"", BUT is without a reference/source and again, the company's website still says "Nation Multimedia Group". --EarthFurst (talk) 22:13, 21 March 2022 (UTC)
- They only announced plans for the change, which have not yet been realised.[1] I think the change was a bit premature; the article should at least clarify that it is currently (as of 2022) undergoing renaming. --Paul_012 (talk) 10:28, 23 March 2022 (UTC)
