The only ref found to date of army service of Exum is in the Maryland Manual Online, which says "Served in U.S. Army". There are no other mentions of army service found as of yet in NewspaperArchive, Fold3 (good source of primary documents), Newspapers.com, and Google Books. Accordingly, "Category:United States Army personnel" is removed from the article until better sourcing is found. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 16:28, 31 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
