Why is it a controversy to say Moldovan people. Are those sources even serious ones. To every country, there corresponds a nation and the nation in Moldova is Moldovan. I guess the confusion here is between ethnicity and nation. In Moldova there's one nation called Moldovan nation, but more than 1 ethnicity: Romanian Russian, Gagauz. Same as in Romania there is 1 nation, Romanian nation, but a more ethnicities: Romanian, Szekely, Saxon, Magyar etc. I think we should remove baseless controversies created by propagandist media. --Kotys ek Beos (talk) 15:08, 3 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

To add to this article: information about Gavrilița's early life. The current version of this article mentions that she holds Romanian citizenship, but does not explain why that would be the case, if she was born in Moldova and holds office in Moldova.
