MIRV or Not

The ISPR called it as Multi-Tube Missile system, with operational capability of carrying multiple missiles/warheads on a single vehicle. Isn't that the same concept for the Multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle or MIRV? It's description do matches the concepts of Multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle. Views?

You seem to have misunderstood the "multi-tube ballistic missile" concept. Multi-Tube refers to the fact that the truck used to launch Hatf IX Nasr carries multiple missile tubes, not that the Hatf IX Nasr missile itself carries multiple warheads (MIRV). The Pakistan Army press release does not say anything about MIRV, does it? --Hj108 (talk) 19:55, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

Why not just compare the system to High Mobility Artillery Rocket System which is also a wheeled vehicle with similar range (if not nukes). Hcobb (talk) 02:22, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

Because High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) is not a class of missile system. It is just a name of a particular US missile system. Raza0007 (Talk) 03:37, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
