Possible Future Significance edit

Nasir, Sobat, Upper Nile, Sudan may become a location for one of the first western style universities in the newly established Autonimous Governent of Southern Sudan.

The Natural Airstrip, strategic location other attributes make it a desirable location for an academy for the reeducation of young fighters for civilian service.

Few details are known about the project but if established this insignificant little town will become a major educational center for the region.
