- In Russia "short nardy" usually means standard (western/international) backgammon. Wrong diagram edit
The diagram supposed to give the initial setup is wrongly drawn. Black's do not mirror White's pieces. Contrary to what the text says. I do think that the correct position can be found in the reference, https://www.ancientgames.org/nard-original-backgammon/. Then what is wrong in the diagram is White's positions which should have 3 pieces on point 8 instead on point 9. Black's positions seem correct.Cazaux (talk) 15:25, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
