editthis sounds like an advertisement —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.67.239.204 (talk) 01:34, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
It well could be. No mention of the rape allegations or even charges. Psx1337 (talk) 14:05, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
Flautist
editReally, now. Flautist? Come on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 163.120.77.253 ([[User talk:163.120.77.253174.42.163.148 (talk) 00:17, 4 October 2009 (UTC)|talk]]) 13:44, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I mean, he doesn't even play the flu--oh wait, that's right! He does! Therefore making him a flautist!!! 174.42.163.148 (talk) 00:17, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
I am not the author of this article but I don't see the point of arguing about the list of instruments that NMB plays on Zappa's records. The flute is one of them ... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Canterburyfan (talk • contribs) 14:17, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
- Please sign your talk page messages with four tildes (~~~~)? Thanks.
- I agree that flautist sounds awkward. Replacing it with flute player was a good idea. Good call. DVdm (talk) 14:39, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
Memorable vocal performances
editIt mentions "Village of the Sun" and "Florentine Pogen", but whoever added that seemed to forgot about the one song that expresses Napoleon's vocal abilities the most in my opinion, "The Illinois Enema Bandit", so I'm going to add it. Vinciryan (talk) 18:31, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
- I removed it. The bandit was sung by Ray White. - DVdm (talk) 08:47, 18 December 2012 (UTC)

Brock is certainly notable. I landed on this page performing a search specifically for him. I wish someone who knew more about him would add to this page. If appearing on 19 Frank Zappa albums, doing hundreds of shows on dozens of national & international tours doesn't make you notable, I'm not sure what does. Jruberto 08:03, 7 November 2006 (UTC) |

inappropriate rollback - restoring
editAn editor who apparently cannot read or understand Wiki guidelines removed an edit about Brock's conviction and prison term. I will be restoring it, and also alerting Admins to that effect to put a watch on the article for a while. 50.111.62.84 (talk) 04:32, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
- The admins know about this; who do you think has been redacting the content in question? The time has now come to discuss whether it is appropriate to include such information or use such a source. Primefac (talk) 00:59, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
- See also User talk:213.149.61.113 and this ANI incident. - DVdm (talk) 08:27, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
- I think I understand BLP guidelines. One of them is that material that has been removed because of a possible BLP violation cannot be restored without prior consensus. I see no such consensus. I removed the material again. DGG ( talk ) 18:46, 7 January 2020 (UTC)
Are there no available police records that could be looked into? I know that could cost a little, but usually it's not too bad. So the only source for the conviction and prison term for rape is what, exactly? Genuinely curious. Psx1337 (talk) 14:08, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
