Danski14, regarding your Sept. 7th edits; I kept the stylistic changes, but if you didn't like the fact that I was quoting from another Wikipedia article you can't just rewrite the quote and remove the citation!! When you press "Save Page" you're certifying that what you've written is your own, original work. It's plagiarism to copy text from elsewhere and simply rewrite it without citation; it doesn't matter whether WP holds a license for it.

WP:SELF is about including content in an article that is somehow mentioning Wikipedia as a topic. And even then, it doesn't say such content should necessarily be removed. But as a compromise, I simply removed the content from the other article and changed the "See Also" link to point to it directly.

Also, I do think it would be best if the article had its own material there, I was including the quote simply to bulk up. --Struthious Bandersnatch 22:27, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
