I welcome anyone's research into Wynn's birth name and early life.
The NY Times reference in the article says Wynn was born in Johnstown, and Broadway databases repeat this.
However, USA census records (1920) for Pennsylvania don't reflect this, on the other hand we have the M.A. & A. M. Vatz family listed in Ohio county, West Virginia, the birth of a Sissie Vatz in 1918, and also a sister Mary & brother Irwin. There is no record of a Marsha or a Robert. The NYT sounds incorrect; I'd put my money on the census.Pzzp (talk) 00:48, 17 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
I question Wynn's age at her death, which is listed as 55 years; on simple arithmetic, it appears to be 52. Do not have any credible sources to hand, so I am reluctant to make a change for its own sake. Hushpuckena (talk) 05:19, 25 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
