Sentence clarification edit

This sentence is missing a word?

"Justice Jaganmohan Reddy listed four "incontrovertible facts" - one of them being the fact that Indira Gandhi did not have any account in that branch - but concluded that they were not sufficient to hold that the money belonged to her."

If she didn't have money in the branch, that fact would suggest that the money DID NOT belong to her. But that the judge felt that the money could still have been hers.

Also, this article caught my attention because I couldn't understand the opening phrase "Rs 60 lakh". Replace this with "a sizable sum of money" or something to indicate that this is an amount of Indian currency?

And it seems odd that a cashier would hand over money on the basis of a phone call! Hugo999 (talk) 05:26, 16 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

A whitewash attempt edit

The article here is nothing other than an attempt to whitewash the issue. Please check the contemporary newspaper reports. There was indeed some misdeeds on the part of the government persons involved. Nagarwala was killed, and I believe that even the police officer who investigated the issue also died in a hit an run case. Many Indian pages connected to the political bosses of India does suffer from such whitewash attempts. --Ved from Victoria Institutions (talk) 07:27, 15 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
