Elizabeth II's Birthday Cake edit

Added the bit about Nadiya baking Elizabeth II's birthday cake under a new headline "baking career"... feels odd. Please edit as you see fit! --Flycatchr 18:59, 21 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

I'm surprised there have not been more comments about the appearance of the cake which, at least to my culinarily untrained eye, looked like a stack of brightly coloured hat-boxes. Martinevans123 (talk) 19:14, 21 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Image edit

Surely there is a suitable image somewhere that could go on this page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.105.187.71 (talk) 21:53, 3 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Chef edit

The user User:Drmargi seems to insist on calling her a 'home cook', when the employer BBC refers to her as a Chef and is referred to as a TV Chef on national publications. [1][2] The user is not able to cite any refernce for Home Cook and suggests his opinion counts 'regardless of what the BBC erroneously calls her' https://www.bbc.com/food/chefs/nadiya

She refers to herself as a baker and home cook, and I provided a source to that effect. A chef is a professional who works in a restaurant in charge of a team of professionals. Does that describe Nadiya? Of course not. The problem is that the term is routinely mis-used. This is idiotic, given the terms I use are a) more descriptive; b) more accurate and; c) what Nadiya herself uses. Why is it SO important to (mis-use) chef? Snobbery? ----Dr.Margi 22:14, 28 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
User:Drmargi, Can you please provide link citing a page on her website (otherwise remove ref) or any publication she is referred to as a 'home cook'? Please note not all TV Chefs own restaurants. Lordb (talk) 22:42, 28 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
It's right on the main page. Just scroll down. ----Dr.Margi 18:20, 29 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
