The result of the move request was: moved to NEMCO Motorsports to correct typo. There is consensus for this action, but it could have been undertaken as routine housekeeping. There is no consensus for any other action here. Xoloz (talk) 02:56, 20 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

NEMCO Motosports → NEMCO Motorsports – Team known as NEMCO Motorsports still exists, Identity Ventures Racing is a separate entity. [1] D-Day (talk) 22:33, 4 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • Move to Identity Ventures Racing: The whole Nemco/Robinson thing has created a disgusting mess of team chronology, and that's before we get into their running the 70 car in some races last year. However, the NEMCO Sprint Cup team is now Identity Ventures Racing. As the "primary" team here, it should be used for the article name, with NEMCO's Busch/Nationwide team(s) covered in the same article via redirect. The SWM-NEMCO Truck team should probably be spun off, as it's unconnected to the old NEMCO Truck teams. - The Bushranger One ping only 22:47, 4 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
However, NEMCO and IVR are separate entities. --D-Day (talk) 00:00, 6 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Are they any more than 'NEMCO-JRR' was from NEMCO's Busch team last year? - The Bushranger One ping only 01:10, 6 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
Yes they are. Not to mention the current NEMCO article is a typo. --D-Day (talk) 17:05, 8 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • Support move to remove typo. Oppose any other for the moment. As said above, this is a mess, and it's not all the team's fault! What we need for a start is an article that clearly sets out the teams(s)' current structure and all of its (their?) relevant history. There's no evidence presented above that this would have any name other than the current one NEMCO Motorsports, in fact no evidence that anyone contributing has even read the nutshell of the policy on this matter. Whether further articles on particular teams (current or previous) should be split from this article will only become clear once this article is sorted out. So do that first, then come back to RM in the (unlikely IMO but possible) event that there's a better name for the overview article. Andrewa (talk) 19:43, 12 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
