There are two all times major groups present in the tehsil Haroon Abad in the contituency of na_169, No.1 is vital group of pml_z No.2 is Basra group These are the activated groups and playing now an important role in the politics but the total win realise upon the ticket of any party i.e. pti or PMLn or any other party ,itay also comprises the formation of commetment or allies in general elections, But the main thing is local bodies elections and here only Vital group prevails and Haji Yaseen Sahib brother of Haji Saeed Ahmad Sahib (known as Mohsin e HND and owner of vital group of companies and father of candidate of PP 283 and ex. MPA GHULAM MURTAZA sahib ) wins this contest since he is participating in the elections. Haroon abad is also known as the "city of the Ministers" bcz of number of Ministers in past past belong to that city , It is purely a business class city with number of foreign oversease who are playing important role in the development of this city . The famous things are Model High School, Gric Haroon Abad,and number of banks that shows the economic prosperity in that city bcz of 2nd largest Ghalla Mandi of Punjab PAKISTAN with respect to especially Cotton, rice and other products of agriculture. Now the next aim for this city is to formation of University hope soon this city would be able to get this mile-stone.
