note edit

"About 71% of myxomas occur in the heart, 41% on the skin, and 7% in the oral cavity (usually on the palate)." Those numbers don't add up to 100%. Tenbergen (talk) 21:15, 16 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Add other description of other types of Myxoma edit

This article is oriented only to Atrial heart myxoma. It should I think be broadened to include other myxomas, such as soft tissue myxoma - for example:

"the five entities regarded as mainstream soft tissue myxomas (namely, intramuscular myxoma, juxta-articular myxoma, superficial angiomyxoma, aggressive angiomyxoma, and myxoid neurothekeoma [myxoma of nerve sheath]) are reviewed in detail. Intramuscular myxoma is exclusively intramuscular, usually affects middle-aged women, is most commonly located in the thigh, and does not recur after simple excision. Multiple intramuscular myxomas are rare and are usually associated with monostotic or polyostotic fibrous dysplasia and Albright's syndrome."

Atrial myxoma edit

This page is centered on "Atrial myxoma" and has to be deeply modified, I think... Humpath (talk) 08:04, 27 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
