I removed the "too much jargon" tag because the article doesn't use any terms that aren't linked to other pages for explanation. If you disagree, put the Jargon sign back up. (Eclarep (talk) 21:15, 29 June 2009 (UTC))Reply

I changed the terms "automata" and "machine" to "entities" and "entity". Cells and organisms are not machines. One may choose to use these terms metaphorically, but in this context, that metaphor is unnecessary and distracting. I also corrected minor grammatical and typographic errors.Tbkepler (talk) 13:51, 11 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

I think there is an error in the links. The myxospores link in the intro links to a class of eukaryotic parasites, but the myxospores we are talking about here are prokaryotic cells that are non-pathenogenic. The two groups (Myxococcus and the Mxyosporea) are not in the same domains of life, and any similarities between sporulation and germination are therefore superficial. I will not change anything now, but could someone confirm this? 6 May 2012

The link to myxospores takes it to myxosporea, which are listed as metazoans, I think there is a problem here....2001:620:600:3800:226:4AFF:FE0A:3CE2 (talk) 13:35, 27 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Contributions have to be in your own words. Unsourced and Copyvio not allowed. edit

Pooyan, I know that you are really trying to help, BUT

  1. Plagiarism is not allowed
  2. Content must be sourced.

I would like to help. Perhaps you can put your proposed contributions on this talk page, and Gargoyle, Ruby and I can help put them into acceptable form. You need some practice learning the proper way of making contributions that are up to Wikipedia standards. Stigmatella aurantiaca (talk) 14:09, 20 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Mibo 3500 Sandbox Move edit

Our team has moved our work from our sandbox to the live article. We reworked most of the article in terms of organization but kept much of the content the same. Previous sections were changed to subsections in the larger headings of Microbiology and Complex Behaviors. Morphology, environment, and metabolism sections were added under Microbiology. More content was added to existing sections as well. To see our edit history, see User:Jkim777/Myxococcus xanthus.
