The result of the move request was: Move. Considering that the Garfield episode is not an article, but a redirect with no chance of expansion, there are no other articles of this title. Cúchullain t/c 15:51, 8 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

– I believe the article on the upcoming attraction at Hong Kong Disneyland is more notable than a redirect for an episode title. A quick news search for the Garfield and Friends episode reveals no results. The attraction at least has some results (which I expect will increase as the attraction's opening comes closer). On a page view basis over the past 90 days, the redirect has been hit 355 times while the attraction has been viewed 4731 times (~13x more). A hatnote could be added to the attraction article to point to the Garfield redirect. Themeparkgc  Talk  00:28, 12 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Comment: The episode article is only a redirect. I also don't think it is premature since the results I have shown above already indicate more references to the attraction than the 1989 episode. If there wasn't such a gap in page views (i.e. 13x) I'd be sitting at the same point as you. Themeparkgc  Talk  06:13, 12 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
The episode page contains the edit history of the episode article that was merged into the list. Moving things that haven't opened is premature. Anything that hasn't opened yet only have tentative names. Marketing can always choose to rename them. -- 76.65.128.43 (talk) 11:56, 12 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. I suggest this arrangement for the three relevant titles:
Not useful to jump to the conclusion (as editors frequently do) that there is a primary topic. That does not help readers at all in the present case.

I'd be willing to support this arrangement as an alternative. Themeparkgc  Talk  03:06, 13 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Support This is absurd. We don't have an article on the Garfield and Friends episode anymore, so it can't make any claims toward primary topic. Also, the redirect has no mainspace links. That leaves one article with this title. Remove the unnecessary disambiguation, add a hatnote if we really think it's necessary, and move on. --BDD (talk) 17:28, 7 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Time to remove "More citations needed"?

edit

I added a number of sources; third-party sources from Imagineers, D23 interviews, and actual video from the ride included. Looking at other comparable Disney park rides, it seems appropriate to remove the warning from this article now. The level of citation here resembles other Disney rides which do not have this warning: Astro Orbiter, The Hall of Presidents, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.
