Page redone to separate Myrsine from matipo, which was all that the previous version of the Myrsine page was about. Unfortunately I don't know much about it beyond Hawaiʻi, so someone who knows their plants will have to fill it in. KarlM 16:41, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hi there! I cleaned up the split you had made. From what I understand "matipo" refers to several species and so matipo should be a dab page, not an article page with a taxobox (the flora naming convention prefers scientific names instead of common names for article titles). The text appears to describe general characteristics of the genus, not a group of species. If it describes only one or two species, that text should be moved to their binomial articles instead of a common name article which relates to several species. --Rkitko (talk) 13:51, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
