Merger proposal edit

- Merge: these do seem to be identical in common use. While it is true that there are mechanism generated by the muscle that are not the Bayliss effect, this seems to be the commonest intended meaning in the field of physiology. As for the direction of the merge, I suggest merging to the slightly more general myogenic mechanism. Klbrain (talk) 23:17, 14 October 2017 (UTC)

- Merging all three to the one location, headed with 'response', sounds like a good idea, because the nature of the response and its mechanism can then be discussed in one good article, rather than 3 incomplete articles. I'll propose a page move from Myogenic contraction (the oldest of the 3 articles) to Myogenic response, which should given the best preservation of the history for the final article.
