Unfortunate acronym

What an unfortunate acronym. Has this recevied any coverage? (i.e from the association that they plan to continue using it regardless of the more recent meaning) Better to address it rather than having people visit this page with a smirk, or suspecting hoax.Cander0000 (talk) 09:52, 24 September 2011 (UTC)

National Association of Recording Merchandisers → Music Business Association – Association has renamed itself from National Association of Recording Merchandisers (NARM) to Music Business Asociation. • Oppose. Suggest you both read Wikipedia:official names which explains the relevant policy. If you can make an argument for the change in terms of the policy at WP:AT, fine, but there isn't one here so far. Andrewa (talk) 16:55, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

WP:UCN states If the name of a person, group, object, or other article topic changes, then more weight should be given to the name used in reliable sources published after the name change than in those before the change.
