The Soul of a New Machine
editNo mentioning of Kidder, Tracy. The Soul of a New Machine. Back Bay Books, 2000. ISBN 0-316-49197-7. I thought this book made the phrase popular. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.141.74.52 (talk) 10:36, 24 October 2018 (UTC)

Value Judgement
editThe overwhelming message of this article is that mushroom management is bad, with a tacked-on paragraph at the end offering the possibility of "good mushroom management". I think this emphasis on good and bad is poor style for an encyclopedia article. Rather, we should be discussing impacts and consequences, and reasons why managers choose to pursue or avoid this management style. IMHO, the article needs a total rewrite due to this issue.
