The nominator Abir Rahman Saif, barely three days old, has hardly made any input to the article. On the other hand, the GA reviewer, Sabika Hasan (created just today), seems to be a sock of the nominator. —Vensatry _(Ping) 17:03, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

Aside from the issue of socking, which seems like a pretty clear cut case to me, the article clearly isn't up to scratch. A one line section on playing style isn't enough. The captaincy is mentioned, but Rahim's role beyond batting isn't really covered. In 2008, Rahim played 9 Tests (his busiest year) and 19 ODIs and it is mentioned once in the body of the article. On top of that, there's nothing more recent than July in the article. Clearly, it is not a good summary of the subject, failing Good Article criterion 3a. And is it me, or does the lead picture look like a copyvio? Nev1 (talk) 18:43, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
