Fair use rationale for Image:Graham Stafford.jpg
editImage:Graham Stafford.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Attempts by police to link Stafford with use of lighter
editSome mention could be made of the reported behaviour of police towards Stafford whilst in custody, in repeatedly offering him cigarettes, despite his repeated statements that he did not smoke. This would seem to be inconsistent with any fair-minded or objective outlook on the part of police members who conducted the interview(s). Aboctok (talk) 08:58, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
There's no place on Wikpedia for "reported" anything - it needs to be supported by citations. Unfortunately, there already appears to be too much original research here.Tuskah (talk) 13:40, 26 March 2017 (UTC)
The Julie-Ann Lowe murder?
editDoes anyone know if the revelations about the original investigation into Leanne Holland's murder mean that there will be a fresh investigation of Julie-Ann Lowe's murder? Regards, Ben Aveling 11:11, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
Article needs an overhaul
editThis article is currently a mess - only one inline citation, and some very POV language and weasel words that indicate it has been edited by the subject, or a supporter:
"a very rare second appeal for pardon"
"The dissenting judge wanted an immediate acquittal" (Justice Holmes exact words, from the link provided, are "I would enter a verdict of acquittal.")
"Stafford finds himself in a unique position"
"Stafford has consistently called for transparency and further scrutiny to be brought to the case"
I think it needs a re-write, with NPOV.Tuskah (talk) 13:51, 26 March 2017 (UTC)
Incessant page changes
editTo whom it may concern I am.the subject of this page and have been notified of the scurrilous edits and factually incorrect information being added to this page. A quick Google research would show that I have had my conviction quashed and continue to push for an inquest yet the page subtitle says murderer? I would ask that you remove it and only edits that are fact based and not based on supposition be allowed. If you have any questions please contact me or alternatively I can put you in contact with my lawyer. Thank you Graham Stafford Gold n staff (talk) 02:43, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
