Why is this article titled "Murder of Jimmie Lee Jackson" and not just "Jimmie Lee Jackson"? It reads like a biographical entry. If it's titled thusly because it's a historical account, then his murderer's article should also be titled as such, since he has no claim to fame other than his connection to this incident. "James Bonard Fowler" is an article that recognizes him as a person, and the same recognition should be afforded to Jackson. 73.182.130.40 (talk) 13:24, 7 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

The general Wikipedia guideline for writing articles about people notable for only one event is to cover the event, not the person, particularly for victims of crimes. There are also naming conventions for murder related articles. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 08:18, 9 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
