Talk:Multicultural Center of the South

Latest comment: 6 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified (February 2018)

Notability edit

The center was one of only 26 sites designated statewide in the first round of the Louisiana African American Heritage Trail, part of an effort pushed by Lt. Gov Mitch Landrieu to highlight the important cultures of the state. It will be supported by state marketing as part of heritage tourism, an effort in place with official website, etc. The center may be getting much more attention soon. The "Trail" and its sites have been covered by articles in the NY Times and other major national papers, which you'll see if you do a search.--Parkwells (talk) 19:04, 9 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
