The site is missing a reference number. I could not find it in Focus or the Elkman Infobox Generator. It could be a part of a Historic District, but it was not mentioned in the East Hampton Village District inventory, which covers James Street including 12 James Street, which should be next door. Can anyone find the Reference Number or a written indication that it was mentioned in an inventory? KudzuVine (talk) 21:59, 15 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

I think it's probably part of a historic district, as you can see here. There are probably other properties that are part of various historic districts in the Village of East Hampton. In fact, tonight I'm going to start moving old HABS images of the house from the "Suffolk County, New York" category to the "Village of East Hampton, New York" category. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 02:22, 20 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
BTW, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation site still has a broken JavaScript. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 01:23, 21 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
