I have started this article because he is the founder of Abbasid Caliphate, which was really the great dynasty. You can search these articles on net to confirm it. Peoples who studies the history of Islam, or Abbasid Caliphate have the knowledge of him. http://www.princeton.edu/~batke/itl/denise/abbasids.htm

It does not appear that much is reliably known about Muhammad ibn Ali. All Ibn Sa'd tells us, besides extensive genealogical information, is that he died in 125 and that Abu Hashim Abdullah ibn Muhammad made him his heir. Hid father, Ali ibn Abdullah, is almost as obscure. Ibn Sa'd says he was born in the yeqr 40 and died in 118. Ibn Sa'd does mention Humaima in passing but apparently assumes the connection of the Abbascids with Humaima was too well known to need an explanation. It looks like that piety of the Abbascids was weak enough that they can only be tracked politically. I suggest merging the biographies, such as they as, of these proto-Abbasida with whatever account is given of the Abbascid revolution. DKleinecke (talk) 17:31, 15 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
