Outlets

"...the Riverway, from which it flows through underground pipes to a gatehouse located at Brookline Avenue. At this point, some of the water runs north to drain into the Charles River..."

Where is this outlet? BTW, does the more visible section which looks to end - above ground - at the northern end of the Bowker Overpass interchange flow directly north into the Charles through pipes, or does it take a more circuitous route? --Criticalthinker (talk) 09:10, 3 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

The undergound pipes are gone but there is still an overflow pipe that begins at the old gatehouse near the intersection of Brookline Ave. and Park Drive (large solitary oak tree marks the spot). The overflow pipe follows Brookline Ave. all the way to Kenmore Square then goes to the Charles via Deerfield Street. This pipe is only active during high flow situations otherwise all of the water flows in the main channel. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stephen1162 (talkcontribs) 18:53, 11 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
