- No, the Contents directly describes the book, which is the source. We hardly need to say that Chapter 6 comes from Chapter 6.

- No, the Contents directly describes the book, which is the source. We hardly need to say that Chapter 6 comes from Chapter 6.
Would look much more systematic and interesting if arranged as in Modern Cookery for Private Families.
- The reason here is that there are very many chapters, varying in number and title between editions. L'art d'ennuyer consiste a tout dire (the art of being boring consists of saying everything); our job for GA is to state "the main points", which the section does.
