Album number and cover

edit

I have two questions. First, I wasn't quite sure how to number this album. It is listed ninth in the discography on the Mogwai page, but it is really only the fifth actual album. Listing it as the fifth feels more correct to me, but other album pages follow the sequential order of the discography. Can anyone think of a better, more explicit way to express this?

Also, unrelated to the album numbering, I am uncertain of the legality of the image used. Does anyone know if unreleased album covers qualify under fair use? Imaginaryoctopus 23:11, 15 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Well I'm not an official source but I would guess using even the higher resolution cover from the Matador Records site would be okay. Mogwai is an indie band, and is on Matador in the US, a label which asked to be taken off the RIAA list for prosecuting p2p folks. It is my guess, as a fan of Mogwai, that using the current image is okay. And, from my basic understanding it does pass the four-factor test. As an aside, when a record review site uses an album cover how does that work out? Do all the little sites have to okay it? Hmm. Also the comment from Alan McGee on 'Mr Beast' being possibly better than 'Loveless' is interesting, I hadn't read that yet so thanks to whoever included it. --Haruki 09:44, 22 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Album Title

edit

I guess I didn't even think of this when I created the article, but should it be "Mr Beast"? I've heard that it is more common in British to not have a period after things like "Dr", "Mr", etc. The British method seems consistent with the spelling on the actual album, so I'll move the article and fix the spelling in a few days if no one objects.
