This song's notability is pretty dubious, as WP:NSONG mandates a song must have generated significant discussion in reliable secondary sources to be considered notable. Additionally, WP:SONGS says most songs, even many notable songs, don't merit separate articles because there is usually not enough non-trivial information to fill an article of good length. Additionally, this article is extremely short and has not a single reliable secondary source. So let's just merge it to its album's article. Shinyang-i (talk) 05:43, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
- Support. There is absolutely no reason for this song to have a separate article. In case someone brings this up – no, charting isn't enough. Random86 (talk) 07:05, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
- Support. This song being a non single with no substantial info for the article makes it a little sad. Merge with Mr.Mr. for sure. RatiziAngeloucontribs 15:31, 24 April 2015 (UTC)
- Support. Per WP:NSONGS this song is not notable enough to have a standalone article. Furthermore I would also suggest that Goodbye (Girls' Generation song) and Soul (Girls' Generation song) be merged. HĐ (talk) 08:23, 26 April 2015 (UTC)
- @HĐ: I agree. I proposed mergers for both of them. Random86 (talk) 05:57, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

See the above discussion. "Goodbye" is not notable enough for its own article. The only review referenced is an unarchived dead link, and it's a review of the EP. Random86 (talk) 05:50, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
- Support Per above. HĐ (talk) 06:30, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

There doesn't seem to be significant coverage in reliable sources for "Soul". It can be condensed into a paragraph on Mr.Mr. (EP). (The lyrics section is most likely unnecessary.) Random86 (talk) 05:55, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

Hello, I'm MarioSoulTruthFan and I'll be reviewing this article over the weekend.
Infobox
edit- Add alt.
- Done
- Add formats.
- Format is not a parameter in the album infobox.
- How do you know when it was recorded?
- Removed, since it is unsourced.
Done
- Why you have only added the executive producer and not, for instance, "The Underdogs" as well?
- I don't think the songwriters are credited as producers in the album liner notes. I wonder if the personnel section is even accurate, since it is sourced to a digital booklet, which doesn't seem to exist. I don't own the album and I could only find scans of pages with individual song credits.
- Hmm, so you either find some liner notes or remove that.
- I found some; see below.
Done
Lead
edit- "six songs" → six tracks (most of these fixes will be to avoid repetition of vocabulary).
- Done
- "and musically incorporates electropop and R&B-pop genres". → and it incorporates electropop and R&B-pop music genres.
- Done
- "The CD version was released in Hong Kong on the same day as the digital release, and was released on February 27 in South Korea" → almost three times in a row the word "release". The CD and digital version were released in Hong Kong on the same day, and was made available for purchase on February 27 in South Korea.
- Done
- "and the title track was released as a single". → The title track was released as a single.
- Done
- Use " –" instead of –. (click on edit to see the difference)
- Used
{{spaced ndash}}
so there is space on both sides.
- Yes, that's it thanks.
- Used
- "became the best-selling album by a girl group of 2014 in South Korea, as well as the fifth best-selling album overall" → Re-word this, see an example on the critical reception below.
- Not done; see below
Songs
edit- "Mr.Mr. is composed of six songs, featuring "dazzling" electropop and R&B-pop genres" → Mr.Mr. is composed of six songs, which feature "dazzling" electropop and R&B-pop genres.
- Done
- "It is an electropop and R&B-pop song that incorporates a hip hop beat and EDM-inspired buildups". → It has been described as an R&B-pop song infused with electropop. It also incorporates a hip hop beat and EDM-inspired buildups.
- Done
- "that finds the girls singing, "Please cover my heart." → I'm not understanding this sentence.
- Removed, because it doesn't make sense out of context.
- "Chinese song" → Chinese recording
- Is this really necessary?
- Just trying to avoid repetition of vocabulary
- Done
- "The original version song was used as the theme song for commercials for the Korean MMORPG video game, Blade & Soul, in Chinese-language markets across Asia" → The original version was used as the theme song on commercials for the Korean MMORPG video game, Blade & Soul, in Chinese-language markets across Asia.
- Done
Release and promotion
edit- "Mr.Mr. was released for digital download worldwide on February 24, 2014. The physical album was released in South Korea on February 27, 2014. The title track served as the EP's lead single; it was released to South Korean mainstream radio on February 25, 2014" → Mr.Mr. was released for digital download worldwide on February 24, 2014, under S.M. Entertainment and KT Music, while the physical version was made available in South Korea on February 27, 2014 by the same labels. The title track served as the EP's lead single and it was released to South Korean mainstream radio on February 25, 2014.
- Done
- "The group also appeared on KBS's Music Bank, MBC's Music Core and SBS's Inkigayo on March 7, 8, and 9,respectively." → year?
- Done
- "the group performed "Mr.Mr." and "Wait a Minute"" → the group sung "Mr.Mr." and "Wait a Minute" live...
- They didn't just sing – both of these were also dance performances. Most music show performances are lip synced, so is "sung live" still accurate?
- They have danced in all the live shows? and yes it is.
- Yes, the songs have dance choreography and were not performed without it.
Ok, then leave it as it is. Done
Reception
edit- Subsection with Commercial Performance
- Done
- "praised the EP for helping the group an outstanding..." → praised the EP for helping the group to be an outstanding...
- Done
- "off the EP" → of the EP.
- Done
- "called the six songs off the EP" → named the six songs off the EP as (some repetition of vocabulary every now and then, avoid it)
- Done
- "deemed the EP"→ "deemed the tracklist".
- Done
No more reviews?
- A review has been added. It wasn't a positive review, so is "generally positive" still accurate?
I have fixed that. Done
- "when it beat" → beating.
- Done
- "The following week," → On the following week.
- Done
- "physical copies" → Wasn't also released as digital download?
- There is no digital album chart in South Korea and each song is a separate digital download.
- Thans for the enlightment. Done
- "a further 1,125 copies sold" → a further 1,125 units sold
- Done
- "highest-selling physical album" → same as previous
- "Overall, Mr.Mr. was the fifth highest-selling physical album and the best-selling album by a girl group of 2014 in South Korea" → Overall, Mr.Mr. was the best-selling and fifth highest-selling album in 2014 by a girl group in South Korea.
Done. I changed it back because the change made the sentence confusing and incorrect. The album can't be simultaneously "best-selling" and "fifth highest-selling".
- In doing so → By doing so
- Done
- All six songs from the EP entered the South Korean Gaon Digital Chart: "Mr.Mr." (number one), "Goodbye" at (number ten), "Wait a Minute" (number 18), "Back Hug" (number 24), "Europa" (number 25), and "Soul" (number 33). → The six songs from the EP debuted on the South Korean Gaon Digital Chart: "Mr.Mr." (number one), "Goodbye" (number ten), "Wait a Minute" (number 18), "Back Hug" (number 24), "Europa" (number 25), and "Soul" (number 33).
- Done
Track listing
edit- Fine.
Personnel
edit- Producers, lyricists, arrangers present on the track listing?
- Do not forget the mastering, mixing and engineers as well.
- I corrected the track listing and added complete credits for the songs. I also found some of the album credits on a Japanese blog. The four credits that were there before were possibly copied from Korean Wikipedia.
- You shouldn't add credits that you find in blogs. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 11:36, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
- I also found a video that shows the credits page in the album booklet, and they were all correct. Random86 (talk) 23:30, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
Charts
editWeekly charts
edit- Album charts table.
- Done (except for Gaon)
Year-end charts
edit- I don't think you can add an album chart table here. Can you assure me?
- The rest is fine.
- The template for Gaon charts was poorly designed and doesn't link to the exact chart, so I didn't use it. Done
Release history
edit- Unlike formats and labels.
- Done
References
editIf you are going to use work and publisher you should provide one for all the links that have.
- ref. 5 → missing publisher
- ref. 8 → missing work
- All refs fixed.
- On another topic, I strongly advise you to archive every single link.
- All refs archived.
Category
editAdd → Albums produced by The Underdogs (production team)
- Not done. The album was not produced by them.

editFantastic article, a joy to read! Please address the mistakes I pointed out and it will be granted GA status. However, I will make a small yet comprehensive review afterwards. On hold for seven days, good luck! MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 21:52, 17 June 2016 (UTC)
