Article Expansion edit

I am trying to turn this stub into a full article. I have added sections on description, vision, habitat lifestyle locomotion, diet, ecological role, group dynamics, territory, conflict, communication, reproduction and mating habits, population and predation, and economic importance. I have read conflicting sources on the number of subspecies of the moustached tamarin. If anyone knows if there are only two subspecies or if there are more, it would be appreciated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Owenalice (talkcontribs) 01:50, 31 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Untitled edit

The only information contained in the text is its Linnaean classification, its general habitat (rainforest), the countries in which it lives, a brief description of appearance, and three general categories of its diet (fruits, tree gum, and insects). Two subspecies are listed, neither of which have their own Wikipedia page. There are only four references, one of which is associated with a picture, and another references its conservation status listed by the IUCN. There are no specific references in the body of the article. This article needs development across all categories. There is no reference to behavior other than dietary choice. The most basic information that should be added is a brief overview of the social structure of the moustached tamarin. While there is a lot of critical information lacking, this information is necessary as a base upon which to add more information on behavior.
