Galleries removed edit

I removed the 2 instances of galley use in this article (characters and sketchbook) per Wikipedia:Image_use_policy#Photo_galleries. The fact that these galleries had existed in this article for about 5 months does not mean that they should be reinstated. --BrokenSphereMsg me 01:17, 9 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Confirmation of lack of humans edit

A citation regarding the lack of humans is needed. I am told that one or more of Petersen's more recent interviews alludes to this, but I have yet to find it. Adlewis (talk) 22:54, 3 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Couldn't it just say "no humans have so far appeared in the stories, and it is unclear whether they exist in the world at all"? Whether or not humans actually exist in the world is kind of irrelevant for the story and this article. The fact that no humans are present is, however, relevant. Imo. Humans do not exist in Mouse Guard. Petersen goes over it on the FAQ at the ASP forum: http://www.throneworld.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4610 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.112.208.113 (talk) 10:36, 7 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Winter 1152 Issue #4 Millenium Falcon Easter Egg edit

I question having mention of this in the entry. While nice to know, it is trivial and not as noteworthy as the pin up information. --BrokenSphereMsg me 18:35, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Non-free images edit

I disagree with the statement that the use of non-free images for each issue is "clearly excessive". However, those images do need to have fair-use rationales added to them, otherwise they are likely to be deleted. GreenReaper (talk) 22:34, 1 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Winter 1152 bi-monthly? edit

Article says "Mouse Guard: Winter 1152 ... is a bi-monthly", but Cover Dates according to comicbookdb.com are:

  • #1 July 2007
  • #2 October 2007 (Aug,Sep,Oct = 3 months between #1 and #2)
  • #3 January 2008 (Nov,Dec, Jan = 3 months between #2 and #3)
  • #4 July 2008 (Feb,Mar,Apr,May,June,July = 6 months between #3 and #4)
  • #5 February 2009 (Aug,Sep,Oct,Nov,Dec, Jan,Feb = 8 months between #4 and #5)
  • #6 May 2009 (Mar,Apr,May = 3 months between #5 and #6)

So I don't think "bi-monthly" is accurate for that specific mini-series. --EarthFurst (talk) 22:32, 5 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Updates edit

I just finished updating the "Main Story" section a bit (required a reference). The second paragraph summarizing the main functions of the Mouse Guard could be more of a summary...I would suggest that the quote either be put into block formatting or actually summarized. I would also recommend that the Black Axe section be updated in line with the series ongoing release, as well as the inclusion of an additional section on the most recent FCBD one shot. Fanlike edit

While I Wouldn't say that this page is blatantly fanboyish, one thing that rings true throughout it, especially in the intro to it, is that it seems to assume that the reader already knows a lot about the setting/the characters. Who is this Kenzie, or Saxon, and why are they mentioned in the intro? Or Celanawe.... It assumes that the reader knows the things it comes here to get to know. The character section is even worse, as it really seem to assume that I know most of what there is to know about the storyline and the setting. Please fix this. 22:16, 30 March 2012 (GMT+1)
