I propose that McGugin Tunnel and Hickory Tunnel be merged into Mount Pleasant Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania. I think that the content in the tunnel articles can easily be explained in the context of the locality, and the township article is of a reasonable size that merging in the tunnel info will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. -Bryanrutherford0 (talk) 15:11, 27 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
I oppose the merger. The article needs improvements and corrections, not a merger. For example, the tunnel coordinates should be in a {{coord}} template, not in text. I have already added three WikiProject templates, causing the articles to be in the appropriate bridge, Pennsylvania and trains projects.. I will add a number of tags, and await editors who will improve the article.--DThomsen8 (talk) 23:45, 21 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
I have a question; Which railroad built those tunnels? I've looked at maps and images of the area and I can't tell if they're considered B&O tunnels or W&LE tunnels. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 17:40, 15 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
