Copyright material removal edit

The whole article was lifted verbatim from the Qld ERPA website: http://www.epa.qld.gov.au/parks_and_forests/find_a_park_or_forest/mount_barney_national_park/

I've deleted the copyrighted material, but we now have no article.

untitled comments edit

this article is shit. i suggest it be completely rewritten

I agree, the photo caption of Barney list the peak as 7th highest in Qld, its actually 3rd highest. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.94.54.14 (talk) 01:33, 21 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
If you can source the information on height, please write that into the article- I have also downgraded it from a b to a start-class.Marcia Wright (talk) 17:27, 6 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Advertising. edit

You get the feeling that someone from Mount Barney Lodge has been here? :-) I'm just doing drive-by alterations (Mt-->Mount), but I count at least a dozen links to the lodge in the text. It could do with a mention in the External Links, but the Accommodation section needs some serious pruning. Johnmc (talk) 02:40, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi, pretty good information just some small inconsistencies - Mt.Barney seems to be the 3rd highest in SE QLD, not the highest (text) or 2nd highest (picture footnote). Keep up the good work!

Every five years or so edit

Every five years or so there seems to be an emergency in this park. The article doesn't include any details. Should we create a simple list of deaths, falls, lost walkers, emergency rescues, etc? I would hate to think an omission on this page gave readers the wrong ideas about safety and risks in the park. - Shiftchange (talk) 20:10, 12 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
